Qualifications required

No Qualifications Required - All Training Will Be Provided Missed out on getting your Maths and English GCSEs? Dont worry- you can still apply but you will need to complete Functional Skills Level 2 before you finish the apprenticeship. Our Learning Coaches can support you with this so dont let this put you off!

Future prospects

During the program, you will be able to take part in many training sessions. You will have the opportunity to become an RYA Sailing instructor, a qualified Rowing coach, and get your powerboat licence. There are many other training opportunities that happen through the apprenticeship!

We have had a number of apprentices who have continued to work at the centre as instructors after finishing. Others who have completed have gone on to work for many of the operators on the Thames such as Thames Clippers, Corys Tugs and City Cruisers.
