Administrative Assistant
We are a small family owned business looking to add someone to our team. You need to be able to work as a team member. We need someone with experience working with QuickBooks. Daily tasks will be answering the phones, manning the front door, A/P, A/R, Payroll, Data Entry into Excel, and help with any HR needs. With this position the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality is very important
Summary
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be essential in supporting daily office operations and ensuring efficient administrative processes. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core skills in computer literacy, customer service, and organizational skills will facilitate effective communication and task management. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks will enhance financial record-keeping and data management. With premium skills in office management and multi-line phone systems, you will help maintain a professional front desk environment. Your attention to detail and time management abilities will contribute significantly to the overall productivity of our team.
Qualifications
- Proficient in computer literacy and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Multi-line phone systems
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Background in office management and clerical tasks
- Familiarity with data entry, filing, and calendar management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including handling multi-line phone systems and greeting visitors at the front desk.
- Maintain organized filing systems and assist with data entry tasks.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and assist in managing office supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and support.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills by utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Suite for various administrative tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
