Administrative Assistant
- Serves as the primary, first contact for the Center answering phones and covering the front desk. This position will answer basic questions, triage phone calls coming through on the main line and assisting visitors.
- Provides administrative support to upper-level Center leadership by scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings/conferences. Prepares and distributes meeting agendas and minutes.
- Coordinate purchase and payment of supplies, services, and other expenses.
- Works closely with Finance team to maintains budget records, such as reconciling PCard records, deposits, and journal transfers.
- Assists with various HR needs, like posting open positions and paperwork related to hiring and terminating employees.
- Helps to plan and execute events like board meetings, retreats, and other Center meetings.
- Assists the Center with business planning and goal setting.
- Ensures the implementation of and adherence to Center, University and grant policies and procedures.
