Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters! Neogen Corporation is seeking a Third Shift Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will support production by preparing and delivering precise chemical mixtures used in our manufacturing processes. This position plays a vital part in ensuring product quality and safety, with responsibilities including chemical handling, equipment maintenance, and waste disposal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and experienced in working with chemicals in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration. Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday - Thursday (3rd Shift) Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, mix, and deliver production chemicals with accuracy and in accordance with written and verbal instructions
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents, and acids
• Perform routine maintenance of production furnaces
• Clean and maintain chemical glassware, including glass tubes and jungles
• Assist in profiling furnaces and supporting chemical spill response procedures
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to chemical handling
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain process efficiency and product quality

Education and Experience:

• Experience in chemical handling, mixing, or laboratory settings preferred
• High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related field is a plus
• Strong understanding of chemical safety practices and documentation
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records
