Document Design Specialist

Piper Enterprise Solutions is looking for a Document Design Specialist who will be involved with adjusting form files, presenting them for approval, and preparing them for regulatory filing. This role is on-site in Frederick, MD.

Requirements of the Document Design Specialist:

• Modify around 1,100 form files (xatw format) to incorporate updated logos, company names, website domains, and email addresses.
• Present the revised files alongside the original versions to stakeholders for approval.
• Upon internal approval, create PDF versions of the files for regulatory submission and forward them to the work group.
• After regulatory approval, prepare PDFs with appropriately named fields and provide both PDF and source files (xatw and xml) to the IT development team.

Qualifications of the Document Design Specialist:

• Basic coding knowledge for creating dynamic forms.
• Proficiency in DocOrigin (similar to Adobe LiveCycle or InDesign), Adobe Acrobat/PDF design and coding, Microsoft SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of typography principles (font, readability, etc.).
• Ability to design forms with user experience (UX) in mind.
• Knowledge of brand management to ensure form design adheres to brand guidelines while meeting regulatory requirements.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Compensation of the Document Design Specialist:

• Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000 *based on experience*
• Comprehensive benefit package: Cigna Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401k w/ ADP, Sick Leave as required by law
