Fuel Accounting Clerk

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices from fuel suppliers including verifying proper supporting documentation
• Accurately enter driver fuel delivery orders to prepare for billing
• Ensure driver paperwork matches delivery reports and the fuel load is billed to the proper store location
• Maintain accurate filing of bill of ladings, invoices, and delivery tickets
• Reconcile vendor payments
• Assist manager with period reconciliation and miscellaneous audits
• Communicate with stores and drivers to assure documentation accuracy
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: Education

• High School Diploma is required.
• Any additional college level course completion is a plus

Qualifications: Experience

• 1 + yrs. experience in an accounts payable functions role preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills

Qualifications: Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
• Practice operating independently without the need for continuous oversight or direction
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and balance competing needs
• A history of taking the initiative to identify and solve work-related problems
• Experience in exercising initiative and sound judgment in decision-making

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $18.50 - $19.50/hour + DOE + Bonus Opportunity The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik/Kum&Go considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
