Retail Sales Associate

Job SummaryWe are seeking a self motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in assisting setting up a store, maintaining the stores appearance, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up the retail opeartions. Stock shelves and ensure that products are displayed attractively and organized effectively
• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions with accuracy.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock levels.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a boutique store or retail environment is required.
• Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with operating a cash register.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for inventory management purposes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when needed.
• A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping customers find what they need.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
