Student success coach

We are seeking a Student Success Coach to be the primary point of contact for students and their families throughout our SAT/ACT programs. This role is critical in ensuring student engagement, accountability, and success. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Onboarding & Engagement

• Welcome new students and ensure they understand the program structure, schedule, and expectations.

• Assess student goals, strengths, and weaknesses to personalize their journey.

• Maintain regular communication to provide motivation and accountability.

• Progress Monitoring & Support

• Track student attendance, homework completion, and practice test performance.

• Identify challenges and proactively provide solutions, including additional resources or study strategies.

• Work closely with tutors to ensure each student receives the right level of support.

• Parent Communication & Updates

• Serve as the main point of contact for parents, providing regular updates on student progress.

• Address concerns, answer questions, and provide guidance on how parents can best support their child.

• Collaboration with Team Members

• Work alongside tutors, instructors, and program coordinators to ensure seamless execution of the program.

• Identify students who may benefit from additional tutoring, boot camps, or upgraded programs.

• Student Retention & Success

• Encourage students to stay engaged and complete all aspects of the program.

• Celebrate progress and motivate students to reach their full potential.

• Assist in transitioning students to higher-level programs as they improve.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree (Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related field preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organized with attention to detail.

• Experience working with students in an educational or coaching capacity.

• Ability to track progress using spreadsheets, CRMs, or LMS platforms.

• Passion for education and student success.
