Medical Device Cold Caller Specialist

Job description:

Presents Companys products and services to current and potential customers.

Identifies and market to new potential customers via cold calling, sales visits, emails, and other marketing techniques.

Builds relationships with contacts at all levels across a variety of functions within customer organizations but especially with purchasing decision makers; develops customer trust and confidence in Companys products and its representatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Promotes Companys products and capabilities;

  • Reaches out to customer leads through cold calling, sending emails, brochures, sales presentations, regular stay-in-touch calls;
  • Develops strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers to increase Companys sales;
  • Keeps customers informed about industry trends and Companys ability to assist customers in adapting;
  • Generates and develops call lists and mailing lists within target markets via industry research, database scrubbing and other tools on online platforms and industry publications;
  • Maintains a well-developed database of prospects and customers per territory;

· Creates and keeps call scripts and email templates that may vary across industries, customer personas and campaigns.

· Consistently manages daily call planning and execution;

· Properly qualifies sales leads and asks discovery questions that highlight customers goals and needs;

· Compiles data including: the documentation and tracking of leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities and the activities;

· Uses data driven research skills to create opportunities for creating new customer relations and helping the sales team. Assists with all sales-related queries;

· Develops a deep understanding of Companys products, goals and concepts and each customers current standing to support the sales team;

  • Ensures all tasks are completed timely and within assigned deadlines;
  • Collaborates with coworkers to keep activities and work flow documentation up to date
  • Coordinates customer training;

Basic Qualifications:

  • Colleges Degree;
  • At least 1 year experience in cold calling
  • At least 1 year experience in a medical device environment;
  • Strong interpersonal, follow-up and relationship building skills;
  • Strong communication and listening skills in both - group and one-on-one situations;
  • Ability to work in cross-functional team environment;
  • Proficiency with office software;
  • Ability to read and understand training documentation and procedures;
  • Ability to write business correspondence and procedure manuals in English;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the management, clients, and customers;
  • Highly organized and up-to-date on tasks;
  • Seek to understand multiple perspectives in a situation;
  • Goal-oriented;
  • Flexible and solutions-oriented;
  • High degree of business ethics.

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing or related discipline
