Occupational Therapist School Setting - Feeding Hills, MA

A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 educational setting located in Feeding Hills, MA. This position is a contracted role for the upcoming school year, providing services to support students developmental and functional goals within the academic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students occupational performance and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting.
• Knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.
